About Mission Tire Service in Hayward, CA

We opened our doors at Mission Tire Service in Hayward, CA in 1994. As a family-owned and operated business, we are dedicated to providing superior services and products to the Hayward community.

After servicing the South San Francisco area for 10 years at Hanlon Tire Service in San Bruno, CA, Joe Hanlon and his father decided to sell their shop for new opportunities.

Joe spent the next year selling wholesale tires but when he came across a great location on Mission Blvd, he knew he could establish his own shop bringing great products and great service to the Hayward area. After finding success in Hayward, Joe and his crew opened up a second shop in Redwood City, CA, serving the South Bay.

The team at Mission Tires is able to bring amazing products to our customers quickly via our local warehouse. Twice-weekly, Joe travels to Lodi to inspect a new inventory of used tires for purchase. He hand-selects the cream of the crop and the tires are then delivered to Mission Tire Service's local warehouse, which services both the Hayward and Redwood City locations. There, the warehouse crew does a complete inspection of the tires which includes air inflation to check for defects, visual inspection of tread life and overall quality, and a clean paint job to spiff them up for purchase!
